Yet another big news has been sparked by Google. The giant search engine has ultimately annulled the black carousel user interface for local listings after months of analysis since August. It has been officially announced recently. This means that the black bar will no more appear at the top of the page which allows going through local listings. Now, there will be three of the most relevant local listings depending on a user’s query and the relevancy guidelines of Google.
Businesses relying on Google’s local listings will either be a big gainer or a loser. If a business manages to show up in the top three list, it will be a win-win situation for them. In case they don’t succeed to feature in the best three list, Google listings will no longer be beneficial for them.
There is no doubt about the fact that it is a bit tough to overlook the ads at the top and the local results. Therefore, getting an organic listing can be challenging. A minimum of three ads appear at the top for queries regarding hotels, restaurants, flower stores and more. By clicking on the result, a user is navigated to a particular page on Google where one can search for further details or book listing.
The withdrawal of black carousal user interface is aimed to make Internet a better and cleaner place and to boost user experience.
